The E-IX app for iPhone and iPad is available from the App Store for devices running iOS 15 or later. It installs a standard VPN profile in iOS Settings and maintains your connection even when the screen is off. If you prefer a third-party Clash client, Surfboard for iOS supports importing the E-IX subscription link from your account page, giving you full control over node selection within the Surfboard interface.

Setup questions — iOS
The E-IX app is available in most App Store regions. If the app is not listed in your regional App Store, you can create an App Store account in a region where it is available, or use the Surfboard client, which is available in a wider set of regions and supports E-IX subscription link import.
Open the E-IX account page after signing in, locate the subscription URL or QR code, then open Surfboard on your iPhone or iPad and tap Add configuration. You can paste the subscription URL directly or scan the QR code. Surfboard will fetch all available nodes and keep them updated automatically when the subscription refreshes.
Yes. The E-IX iOS app installs a standard VPN profile in iOS Settings that maintains the connection while the screen is off. iOS may briefly pause the VPN in low-power mode, but it reconnects automatically. For uninterrupted operation, disable low-power mode when using E-IX on long sessions.
